Epicurean Collection is your expert in the wine and spirits industry. Our collection highlights a handful of quality wineries to discover and more. Beyond the savoir-faire there is a person and a story we hope to assist in this discovery. We bring to both our professional and novice customers wines of different qualities, from different origins enabling them to choose according to their desires.
We specialise in fine local and international wines, as well as wine experience events. Our team includes the most knowledgeable people in the wine industry and we’re always happy to provide personal recommendations, whether you are a newbie to wines, a seasoned taster or somewhere in between.

Wine Expert
Alexandre grew up in the South of France in the small village of Camon. His grandfather was a vintage distiller specialising in pear eau-de-vie. On the side he learned from the harvesting of the fruits through to the distillation, and also took part in the sales.
After studying law and international trade he decided to specialise by doing a Masters in the wine and spirits industry. He studied at the University of eaux-de-vie of Segonzac – the capital of the Grande-Champagne district best known for its Cognac – where he also was the President of the Elixir Foundation.
Like the vine, Alexandre has cultivated his love for South Africa and its terroir. In 2012 he decided to come and help in the vineyards of Haute-Cabrière in Franschhoek. Two years later, he moved to the Karoo to set up and manage a vineyard.
From planting vineyards to the distillation and selling, Alexandre is involved in all aspects. His knowledge as a lawyer, with commercial and marketing experience allows him to have a global vision of the industry.
